| Hello again dear readers. I don't usually mix politics with the Pipeline, but with the California primary coming up on March 7, I wanted to take this chance to remind all of my fellow Californians to get out and vote. Who you vote for in the Presidential primary is up to you, but there is one issue that is quite important to me.
Proposition 22, if passed, would ban gay marriage in this state and refuse to recognize such unions made in other states. Defeating this proposed law is easily the most important battle before the November election. Please consider voting down this divisive, hateful and morally indefensible law by voting NO on 22.
With all
the roster shake ups in the world of contract girls, we're going to do a little check on the VCA Contract Girls. Still on the team full time are legends Ginger Lynn and Marilyn Chambers. Kylie Ireland is doing double duty, starring in movies and doing PR for the company.
Vicca and Nikita both had their contracts run out and will be venturing out on their own. Juli Ashton will continue to do movies for her own production company. Stacy Valentine is said to have a few projects left before her proposed retirement from smut later this year.
Word around the water cooler is that VCA may be looking to add a few names to the roster, but nothing to report at this time.
Following up on a contract girl story from last month, Kendra Jade didn't stay a free agent for long.
The former Cream Girl is now the very first XXXGen contract girl. This should be a good fit since Kendra was the first centerfold for the new magazine. Fans can look forward to seeing her on video again very soon. Meanwhile, issue two of the magazine should be on shelves shortly. Check out the expanded review section, I think you might like it.
In the middle of an undue shitstorm, Anabolic has made the decision to stop selling their Rough Sex line. Existing copies were not pulled from the shelves, but the controversial line has been discontinued. Director Kahn Tusion already has two more lines in the works and is rumored to the one who ultimately pulled the plug on his lighting rod series. What this may or may not mean for other hard bondage/sex lines is still unclear, but you can bet we haven't heard the last of the great Rough Sex debate.
Speaking of controversial lines, Extreme Associates is breaking some new ground with their first gay line. Modeled after their highly successful blowjob line, "Cocksmokers" the new line will be called 'Mansmokers.' Presumably, it will be filled with the same sort of drippy faced oral sex that Extreme is known for. No word on whether they will hire Earl Slate for a later volume.
One of the recently former VCA contract girls, Stacy Valentine is the subject of a new documentary called "The Girl Next Door." Set for theatrical release, the film traces her rise from Oklahoma housewife to porn superstar. It's a rare glimpse behind the lights and make up into the heart and mind of a young woman who makes her living being the woman of our dreams.
Earlier this month, Jasmin St. Claire fans noticed something a little strange. She began appearing in Elegant videos with the phrase 'Contract Girl' on the boxes. To be fair, they never said that she was an Elegant contract girl. In truth, the scenes, including a strap on scene with Annabelle Chong, were lensed by St. Claire's ex Earl Slate and bought by Elegant Angel. As a fuck you to Rob Black? Only Patrick Collins knows for sure.
Asian superstar Mimi Miyagi has found a home for her new line of videos. Metro has bought her movie 'Fantasiany and will be the home for the next few Mimi movies as well. The first video stars Leanni Lei, Mimi and Mia Smiles.
Shay Sweet has left Sin City, cutting their number of contract girls to three.
Her departure from porn also marks an end to the all too short reign of the Texas quartet of Shay, Katie Gold, Holly Woods and Alyssa Love. They all hit porn at about the same time and they are all missed. Time for someone to make a recruiting trip to Texas to fill their garters.

A reporter spent a number of days with Candy and her husband, exploring the ins and outs of being a porn star. Somehow, the article makes Candy seem less like a cock starved super freak and more like a fun loving, if somewhat confused young woman. Interesting reading or great fiction? I'll let you decide.
Did any of you happen to catch 'Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire" on Fox last month?
I was all set to write some witty slam at what amounts to very expensive prostitution, but we get these great new developments this week. After agreeing to take place in a wholesale meat market show, the 'winner' comes home from her honeymoon and hits every talk show in town. It's hard to listen to this woman talk about her shame and embarrassment without laughing.
Sweetie, you agreed to marry some guy you'd never met and let him pick you out like a new tie. You lost all credibility and know this. That ticking sound you're hearing is your fifteen seconds of fame evaporating quickly. (Though not nearly quickly enough.)
One final, last minute story to report. Just this week Jasmin St. Claire and Extreme Associates have parted ways. I spoke briefly with Jasmin, who says the company owes her "a lot" of money. She has no plans currently to do movies, concentrating instead on her wrestling and marital arts career. Don't rule out porn though, as plenty of people would love to cash in on Jasmin's name and/or take a few shots at Jasmin's former bosses.
