"Victoria Paris Retires"
As previously reported, porn legend Victoria Paris has cancelled plans to sign an exclusive arrangement with Extreme Associates.
Purportedly, the recent HIV situation within the adult industry has caused
Victoria to reconsider performing sex on camera.
Victoria will not be stepping away from adult films entirely, though.
The blonde superstar is said to be considering roles in some bondage videos that do not require sexual contact or the exchange of bodily fluids.
"Extreme Associates Add Ashlyn Gere To Roster"
As part of their "Hostile Takeover" campaign, Extreme Associates has
announced the signing of ex-Vivid Video contract girl Ashlyn Gere to it's constantly expanding team of top-notch talent.
Company co-founder Rob Black made the announcement at a press conference at
the recent Video Software Dealers Association in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Rob introduced Ashlyn to the gathering of reporters as "The Legend" a reference to her standing in the adult community.
Ashlyn said the reason for her signing with Extreme Associates and coming back from semi-retirement was due in part to her being impressed with Rob's script for Rubber, a film that will feature Gere and be shot later this year.
"Rob also offered me a great (financial) deal nobody else had ever offered me," Ashlyn is quoted as saying.
Ashlyn will fill a position left vacant by Ashlyn's close friend and dance touring partner Victoria Paris, who broke off discussions with Extreme Associates a month ago.
The deal was so close to being signed that the video production company had taken out a full page ad in the most recent issue of Adult Video News promoting the pending partnership.
"'Heavy Metal' Sequel Secures $15M Financing"
Kevin Eastman, creator of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and owner of Heavy
Metal Magazine, has secured $15 million in financing for his upcoming animated sequel to the Ivan Reitman original "Heavy Metal".
Set to star an animated version of Eastman's girlfriend Julie Strain, "Heavy
Metal: F.A.K.K. 2" is set to play theatrically sometime around September.
In additional Strain news, the Amazonian B-movie queen is currently appearing
in Playboy's "Sex Court" on the Playboy Channel.
"Sex Court" is a parody of the popular "Judge Judy" show and other court
shows with Strain taking on the role of the court magistrate.
"Hyapatia Lee Mysteriously Quits"
Announced in a cryptic note on her official web site, legendary adult film
star Hyapatia Lee, has officially retired forever.
In a quote from her official web site, Hyapatia has said:
"I'D LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO THANK YOU FOR VISITING. TO ALL MY LOYAL FANS, THANKS FOR HANGING IN THERE WITH ME. I AM AFRAID I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO UPDATE THIS PAGE ANYMORE OR OFFER ANY THINGS FOR SALE.
I HAVE NOT BEEN IN GOOD HEALTH AND AN OLD CHILDHOOD DISABILITY IS GETTING THE BEST OF ME.
MY FAN CLUB IS CURRENTLY OUT OF BUSINESS. ALL MEMBERS WILL BE RECEIVING GIFTS FROM WHAT I HAVE LEFT IN STOCK. I AM SORRY, BUT I HAVE NO CHOICE...GOODBYE."
When called about this situation, all of her phone lines have been
disconnected and she couldn't be reached for comment.
We will keep you posted on any new information that surfaces on this strange
situation.
"Jessica Darlin Out At Elegant Angel"
Fiery, redheaded newcomer Jessica Darlin has opted out of her contract as an
exclusive performer for Elegant Angel. The tumultuous exit comes less than two months after the actress entered into a one year arrangement with the video company to appear in Elegant Angel only product, as well as produce a line called "Darlin's Derrieres".
Jessica announced her separation from the company Saturday afternoon and at
the same time announced that she had been without a contract for less than a
day before signing another exclusive arrangement with Extreme Associates.
Extreme Associates is the production company formed by ex-Elegant Angel contract players Rob Black, Van Damage, Tom Byron, and Tiffany Mynx.
Jessica will retain her unreleased "Darlin's Derrieres" series to be
distributed under the Extreme Associates label.
